I have worked in personal taxation for over 30 years, initially 10 years with H M Revenue & Customs (then known as the Inland Revenue). I subsequently set up and managed the tax department for a local firm of accountants dealing with small owner managed businesses and partnerships, company directors and private tax clients. This was followed by spending 17 years specialising in UK personal taxation for non-resident and non-domiciled individual private tax clients (including non-resident landlords, pilots, aircrew, seafarers) with a long established company of tax consultants, before setting up my own practice.
